The Grand Finals came down to a tense checkmate finish. WithoutYou stayed rock-solid the entire weekend, never dipping into 7th or 8th and closing things out with another strong game. YBY1 had some of the most interesting lines of the tournament and came close to forcing another lobby, but couldn’t quite hit the upgrades he needed at the end. Fans praised the level of play overall, while also debating how the checkmate format and the way the final lobby played out affected the finish.
